Hummingbird Bread with Cream Cheese Frosting
About Hummingbird Bread
Hummingbird bread is inspired by the classic Southern American dessert known as Hummingbird Cake. The cake became widely popular after being featured in Southern Living magazine in the late 1970s. It is known for its moist texture and tropical flavors, combining ripe bananas, crushed pineapple, warm spices, and pecans. This bread version transforms those flavors into a soft, sliceable loaf perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.
