Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of your choice)
12 oz beer (choose a beer with flavors that complement the cheese)
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Optional: herbs or spices for extra flavor
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until well combined.
Add the shredded cheese to the flour mixture and stir to distribute evenly.
Slowly pour the beer into the bowl, stirring gently until the ingredients are just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Pour the melted butter into the batter and fold it in gently to incorporate.
Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake the bread for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Slice the bread and serve warm. Enjoy the delicious aroma and flavors of your freshly baked Beer Cheese Bread!
