Cinnamon Cream Cheese Cookies

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

2 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions
In a mixing bowl, cream together cream cheese, butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract, beating until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Scoop portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
