Cinnamon Roll French Toast Roll-Ups

Ingredients
8 slices of bread (white or whole wheat)
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons butter
Maple syrup
Optional: chopped nuts, berries, or chocolate chips for filling
Directions
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread a thin layer onto each slice of bread and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Roll up each slice of bread tightly, starting from one end to create a compact roll-up.
Whisk together eggs, milk, and cinnamon in a bowl. Dip each bread roll into the egg mixture, ensuring all sides are coated evenly.
Cook the coated roll-ups on a hot, buttered skillet until golden brown on all sides. Drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
