Classic Earthquake Cake

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups granulated sugar

3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup milk

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

8 oz cream cheese

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup coconut

1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and coconut until well combined.
Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture onto the batter and swirl with a knife.
Sprinkle chopped pecans on top of the batter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the cake is set.
Allow the cake to cool before slicing and serving.
