2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 cup Nutella
Optional: chopped nuts or chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a pie dish.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
Press half of the cookie dough into the bottom of the pie dish.
Spread Nutella evenly over the cookie dough layer.
Top with the remaining cookie dough, covering the Nutella layer completely.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cookie pie is golden brown.
Allow the pie to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
