Ground Beef and cabbage stew

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef

1 small head of cabbage, chopped

1 onion, diced

2 cloves of garlic, minced

1 can diced tomatoes

4 cups beef broth

2 carrots, sliced

2 potatoes, diced

Salt, pepper, and herbs/spices to taste
Directions
In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant (2-3 minutes).
Stir in cabbage, carrots, and potatoes; cook for 5 minutes until softening.
Pour in tomatoes, beef broth, season with salt, pepper, herbs, and spices. Bring to a simmer.
Cover and let stew cook over low heat for 30-40 minutes until vegetables are tender and flavors melded.
Adjust seasoning as needed and serve hot with crusty bread or steamed rice.
