Tennessee Onions

Ingredients

4 large sweet onions

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon sugar

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a
Peel and slice the onions into thick rounds.
Caramelize the onions in a skillet with butter, olive oil, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Transfer the onions to the baking dish, top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let cool slightly before serving.
