3 cups Fresh broccoli florets
2 cups Cooked white rice
2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 cups Milk
1/4 cup Butter
1/4 cup All-purpose flour
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth to create a roux.
Gradually whisk in milk until the mixture thickens.
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, broccoli florets, and the cheese sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and top with additional cheese, if desired.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted and golden brown.
