Ingredients
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 can apple pie filling
2 puff pastry sheets
Optional: Cinnamon, powdered sugar for dusting
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
Beat softened cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Roll out puff pastry sheets and place one sheet in the prepared baking pan as the base.
Spread the cream cheese mixture over the pastry sheet evenly.
Spoon the apple pie filling over the cream cheese layer.
Place the second puff pastry sheet on top, sealing the edges.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and set.
Cool in the pan before slicing into bars.
Optional: Dust with powdered sugar or sprinkle cinnamon before serving.
