Ingredients
1 pound ground beef (or preferred protein)
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or Mexican blend)
4 10-inch flour tortillas
Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, salsa, sour cream
Directions
In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add taco seasoning to the beef according to package instructions. Stir well to combine.
Place a tortilla on a flat surface. Spoon a portion of the seasoned beef onto the center of the tortilla.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef.
Add any desired toppings such as diced tomatoes, salsa, or sour cream.
Fold the sides of the tortilla over the beef to create a pocket, ensuring all fillings are enclosed.
In a clean skillet, place the taco pocket seam side down and cook until golden brown and crispy.
Repeat the filling and cooking process for the remaining tortillas.
Serve the Cheesy Beef Taco Pockets hot and enjoy!
