Chicken Teriyaki and Rice

Ingredients
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
4 cups cooked white rice
Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Directions
Begin by cutting the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and set them aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger to make the teriyaki sauce.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the chicken pieces. Cook until they are browned on all sides.
Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and stir to coat the pieces evenly.
In a separate bowl, mix the cornstarch and water to create a slurry, then add it to the skillet to thicken the sauce.
Continue cooking until the sauce has thickened and the chicken is cooked through.
Serve the Chicken Teriyaki over a bed of cooked white rice and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
