Cozy Grandma’s Philly Cheesesteak Pasta

Ingredients

1 pound of pasta (such as fettuccine or penne)

1 pound of beef sirloin, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 onion, thinly sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 cup of mushrooms, sliced

2 cloves of garlic, minced

1 cup of beef broth

1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce

1 cup of provolone cheese, shredded

Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the sliced onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine with the beef and vegetable mixture.
Sprinkle shredded provolone cheese over the pasta and cover the skillet until the cheese melts.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
