Easy, Oven-Roasted French Garlic

Ingredients

4 whole garlic bulbs

1/4 cup olive oil

Salt

Pepper

Fresh herbs (such as thyme or rosemary)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Peel away the outer layers of the garlic bulbs, leaving the cloves intact.
Slice off the top of each garlic bulb to expose the individual cloves.
Place the garlic bulbs in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and roast in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the garlic is golden brown and soft.
Remove the garlic from the oven and allow it to cool slightly before squeezing the roasted cloves out of their skins.
Use the roasted garlic immediately or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for future use.
