Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
Vegetable oil (for frying)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
Directions
In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil, then remove from heat.
Stir in the flour until a smooth dough forms. Let the dough cool slightly.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, until the dough is smooth and shiny.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan. Pipe the dough into the hot oil, using a star-tipped piping bag.
Fry the churros until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
In a shallow dish, combine cinnamon and sugar. Roll the warm churros in the mixture to coat evenly.
Serve the Old-Fashioned Churro Snacks warm and enjoy the crispy, sugary goodness!
