Roasted Parmesan Creamed Onions

Ingredients

3-4 fresh onions (red or white)

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup heavy cream

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Peel the onions and cut them into wedges or thick slices.
Place the onion slices on the prepared baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
Roast the onions in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until caramelized and tender.
In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it simmers. Add minced garlic and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
Pour the creamy Parmesan sauce over the roasted onions, ensuring they are coated evenly.
Return the baking sheet to the oven and broil for 3-5 minutes until the sauce is bubbly and golden brown.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs or extra Parmesan cheese.
