Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups Fritos
2 cups shredded cheese
Directions
In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Add diced onions and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
Transfer the cooked beef mixture to the slow cooker. Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours to allow flavors to meld together.
When ready to serve, layer the bottom of a serving dish with Fritos. Spoon the chili mixture over the Fritos, then top with shredded cheese.
Place the dish under the broiler for a few minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve hot and enjoy!
