Winter Comfort Mom’s Playoff Puffs

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup butter

1 cup milk

2 eggs

1/4 tsp salt

Optional: Cheese, herbs, or spices for filling
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add milk and salt, stirring until heated through.
Gradually add flour to the saucepan, stirring continuously to form a smooth dough. Cook for a few minutes until the dough pulls away from the sides of the pan.
Remove the dough from the heat and let it cool slightly. Beat in the eggs one at a time until smooth and well combined.
If desired, fold in chosen fillings like cheese, herbs, or spices to add flavor to the dough.
Portion the dough onto the prepared baking sheet using a spoon or piping bag, leaving space between each puff.
Bake the puffs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
Remove from the oven and let the puffs cool slightly before serving.
